The Energy Cluster at School of Advanced Engineering (SoAE), UPES, Dehradun, is a leading academic hub fostering research, innovation, and education in the energy sector. Comprising distinguished faculty from departments including Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Applied Sciences, the cluster brings together expertise spanning conventional and renewable energy, materials science, and environmental sustainability. The cluster has been at the forefront of advancing energy research in India, with active collaborations with premier national and international institutions, industry partners, and research organizations. Its members have contributed significantly to areas such as Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS), green hydrogen, bioenergy, and advanced functional materials, establishing UPES as a recognized center of excellence in energy education and research.
