Dr. Shivanjali Sharma is Associate Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering and Geoengineering at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), where she has also served as Associate Dean (Faculty Affairs). Her research focuses on carbon utilization, enhanced oil recovery, drilling fluids and cement design, flow assurance, oilfield additives, and polymer rheology. She has led several sponsored research projects funded by organizations including ONGC, OIL, HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited, and DST-SERB, resulting in two patents, over 60 research publications, and a co-authored book on unconventional energy resources. Her work has been recognized at India Energy Week 2025 and with several research awards. She also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Energy & Fuels and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE).
