Prof. Nitin Seth is the Director of the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA), a bilateral centre established by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Government of France. With 25+ years of experience across industry, teaching, research, consulting, and training, Prof. Seth holds a PhD from IIT Delhi and has undertaken post-doctoral research at GIZ/DIE, Germany, and École des Mines, Saint-Étienne, France.
He has led international projects and training programmes across 40+ countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa. His research and publications span international cooperation, service quality, supply chain management, and logistics. He is an Emerald Literati Award winner and has served on the editorial boards of reputed international journals. Prof. Seth has guided 15 PhD scholars, 250+ postgraduate, and 100+ undergraduate students, conducted 150+ programmes, and trained 3,000+ professionals and exporters. His work on logistics and supply chain efficiency has been recognized by NITI Aayog, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, and various export promotion councils. He has also contributed to the G20 Logistics Group, science diplomacy initiatives, and national and state-level research committees, and serves on the advisory and academic bodies of several universities.
