Mr. Sanjeev Sharma

Mr. Sanjeev Sharma is a business leader with over 30 years of experience in developing and delivering large infrastructure projects across water, desalination, and the energy transition sectors. As Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at GH2 Solar, he leads the development of export-scale green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol platforms across the India–Middle East corridor. Over his career, he has secured contracts exceeding USD 875 million and built multi-billion-dollar project pipelines across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. A Mechanical Engineer with a Global MBA and postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration and Marketing, he has held senior leadership roles at IDE Technologies, Hyflux, Driplex Water Engineering, VAGAS AQUA, Larsen & Toubro, and a leading renewable energy IPP, where he led major desalination, water infrastructure, and green hydrogen initiatives. At GH2 Solar, he has structured BOO-based green hydrogen platforms, advanced large-scale green ammonia and methanol projects, and focuses on bankable project development, techno-commercial structuring, EU regulatory compliance, and blended finance. Mr. Sharma has been recognised as India's Most Influential Clean Energy Leader 2025, Green Hydrogen and Water Leader 2025, and India Water Icon 2014, and has served on the National Committee on Water of CII while remaining a Life Member of the International Desalination Association.
